It's a good idea to set up a dedicated channel for your tech team where UptimeBot will fire alerts. Channel participation should be limited to the people who are actively involved in resolving incidents. So once you installed UptimeBot and is trying to add a new monitor, let's specify a channel or a user who will take care of incidents in a pop-up window.
Alerts fired to the channel can be assigned to oneself or another person from your team who will guide an incident to its resolution.
